Cult Wines International

Sell Your Wine

Cult Wines International buys a variety of collectible wines from private individuals each year.

Separate from our inventory, we are always looking to expand our own personal wine collection. We buy rare wines from all over the world. We make it easy to turn your wines into cash. We offer immediate payment and the highest prices for your wines. Selling your wines is a hassle free and simple process.

We also offer a Wine Consignment Program, where we sell wine on your behalf for a consignment fee.

Just fill out this contact form and we’ll be in touch within a few days:

(Please read below the contact form to see sample photos, sales criteria and the selling process)

Please note: Photo size is limited to 4.5 MB each

Here are some examples of what we need to see in photos: (Label, fill level & foil capsule must be clearly observable in photos. For Champagnes, please provide light behind the bottle so we can see color & clarity)

    Here are the steps:

    1. Just above you will find a form you can fill out with your contact information as well as a list of the wines you wish to sell & photos.

    2. From the moment we receive your inquiry, we will carefully review your wines and give you an accurate estimate of what we can pay you for your wines taking all things into consideration (Producer, vintage year & condition). We will typically reply within 48 hours of receiving your email.

    3. Once you have received, reviewed, and accepted our estimate; we pay you with PayPal and email you a pre-paid FedEx shipping label. (Other payment methods are available if you don’t have PayPal)

    4. You pack the wines, tape our label onto the box and drop them off at a local FedEx drop off location.

    It is truly that simple.

If you live in the state of Florida or even if you live out of state and have a large wine collection to sell, we may arrange to buy your wine outright in person.

Here are a few thing to help you understand the types of wines we buy:

    1. We are only interested in rarer wines. There are exceptions to all rules but typically the wines we buy must have a retail value of at least $200.00

    2. We do not buy wines in sub-par condition or wines which show indications that they are un-drinkable. Therefore all wines must meet the following criteria:

    – Wines must have a fill level at top shoulder or higher

    – Main labels must be clear and legible

    – Corks must be securely seated, not visibly shrunken, nor bulging out of the capsule, or falling down into the bottle

    – Bottles must not be leaking

    – Foil capsule must be original and intact. Without severe corrosion, or any evidence of tampering.

    – Some sediment is natural in old bold reds, but all Champagne, Sauternes and white wines must be completely free of floating sediment.

    – Red wines must retain their color and must be clean and clear of all floating sediment when allowed to rest.

    3. Typically, the types of wines we purchase are: French wines, Italian reds, Napa & Sonoma wines, Port, rare whites and Australian Syrah.
