Tasting Notes:
99 points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
The 2015 Promontory is deep purple-black in color with a nose of wild blueberries, Bing cherries, black raspberries and violets with touches of cedar chest, garrigue and dried bay leaves plus a waft of mossy bark. The palate is medium to full-bodied, very firm, grainy and taut, bursting with black and blue fruit plus tons of savory/earthy accents, finishing long. This should be incredibly long lived!
