Tasting Notes:

The 2012 Hosanna is a powerhouse, incredibly sexy beauty that’s right up there at the top of the scale. Made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, this deep ruby/purple colored beauty boasts knockout notes of blackcurrants, dried tobacco, spice box, forest floor and graphite. While it’s a big, rich, full-bodied effort, it just glides across the palate with a weightless, elegant texture. With sweet tannin, a layered, seamless personality and a big finish, this is an incredible wine that’s already offering pleasure, yet will keep for another 15-20 years.(2/2018)
94-96 points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Hosanna’s dense ruby/purple color is followed by a floral, black raspberry, black currant, mulberry, Christmas fruitcake and licorice-scented bouquet. Full-bodied (especially for a 2012 as well as a Pomerol), rich, concentrated and strikingly pure, it combines great finesse/elegance with power and substance. It should drink well when released and age nicely for two decades or more. (4/2013)
