90 points Vinous
The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Georges III is a pretty, nuanced wine. Dark red and black fruit, iron, smoke and tobacco meld together in an intense, focused Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2011 impresses for its length and persistence. Today, the 2011 is quite compact, its power notwithstanding. Bottle age will help, but only to a small degree. The limits of the year on the valley floor are evident. (AG) (11/2013)
