Ratings & Tasting notes:
Stephen Tanzer’s IWC – March/April 2000:
“Good bright ruby-red. Subdued aromas of cassis, blackberry, iron, brown spices and oak. Sweet, supple and nicely balanced; currant and leather flavors are brightened by ripe acids. Finishes with even tannins and very good length. Graceful and well made. This is a one-time bottling of 100 barrels of wine, one barrel each from 100 sources.”
