1967 Chateau Lafite Rothschild Pauillac

Tasting Notes:

Wine Spectator: “Firm and moderately flavorful, with crisp cherry and plum notes accented by cola and leather. Nicely mature. (11/1991)”

Clive Coates: “Medium mature colour. No undue age. Soft, mature – but by no means aged nose. Still elegant: very subtle. I prefer this to the 1970. It has more style. Now very soft, and never very intense or concentrated. but balanced. Fresh and round and most enjoyable. Good fruit. Good complexity. Still most attractive. Full of interest. Tasted 1992.” (Grand Vins, The Finest Châteaux of Bordeaux and their Wines, pg. 52)
